    North Riding - Mosaic.*
    Round Corner - Melton-on-Sea.
    De Ranke - Amer Amer.*
    Quantock - QPA.*

I was praying that Mosaic would be the beer on rotation on the North Riding pump, in Harry's Bar and luckily it was. Just the job. An honorable mention for the Amer Amer, which is a Belgian take on an American IPA, made with Cascade and Centennial. Not one for glugging, at 6%, but a fine beer.
Heard great things recently from fellow scoopers about the North Riding beers sadly only had one beer from them years ago when they were to be avoided. Think it was the brewpub rather than a brewery

Definitely one of my favourite breweries. They started off as a brewpub, but have expanded twice, on separate premises, since then. Can't remember a time when they were to be avoided. It could be argued that Stuart Neilson's beers aren't the most complex, but for sheer drinkability, they take some beating. I've had a couple, outside the core range, that I thought were average, but I've not had a duff one yet.

Stuart's son still brews beer in the cellar of the pub. North Riding Brewpub and North Riding Brewery are effectively different entities.

The brewpub beers are usually only available at the pub or at beer festivals.

    I stand corrected. Cheers, Rob.

    South Norwood,Pentonville and Stoke Bruerne.

DEYA -- Steady Rolling Man * (keg)
    Adnams -- Ghost Ship
Northern Monk -- Patrons Project 22.01/Black Friday*
    Kent -- Clerkenwell Pale *(3PT)
Siren -- Juicy Grapefruit IPA *(keg)
    Marston's -- Pedigree
    Marston's -- Old Empire*

Some fine pints but BOTW goes to Northern Monk Patrons Project 22.01 /Black Friday in this Craft Beer Co..Described as sweet cherry, coconut raspberry custard this stout demanded respect at 6% but I got all the flavours mentioned and it got easier to drink as the pint went down, always a good sign.

Next week boating resumes after an engine rebuild and a spot of footie should get the year off to a good start.

    Festive choice:

    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Blue Monkey King Kong*
    Everards Tiger
    Titanic Plum Porter*
    Beat Funk IPA*
    Brancaster The Wreck*

Some good stuff there and, as ever, the Plum Porter went down well. BOTW Beat Funk IPA. A punchy New World IPA which flew down after a Plum Porter or two hence recollection on details is hazy.
