A stay in Shrewsbury produced this

    Ludlow Best 3.7%
    Salopian Oracle 4.0%
    Salopian Treasure Trove 4.0%
    Monty's MPA 4.0%
    Ludlow Blonde 4.0%
    St Annes Tumbledown Dick 4.1%
    Ludlow Gold 4.2%
    Ludlow Mystic Honey IPA 4.2%
    Oakham Citra 4.2%
    Taylor's Landlord 4.3%
    Wadworth Terzo Tempo 4.4%
    Salopian Sessionista 4.4%
    Thornbridge Peverel 4.5%
    Ludlow Black Night 4.5%
    Oakham Darker Days 4.8%
    Ludlow Stairway 5.0%
    Brains Red Dragon 5.0%
    Brewdog Punk IPA (keg) 5.4%

The clear winner is the Thornbridge Peverel as tried for £3.30 (discounted) in the Salopian Bar. It was superb and it beat the Oakham and Salopian rivals. Ludlow Brewery deserves a mention as their beers are all available in superb condition at their brewery tap and at just three quid a pint. They are old school but not shabby and even their pathetic strength Boring Brown Best has a great flavour.

As expected slim pickens this last week..

    Flowerpots Perridge Pale
    Taylors Boltmaker
    Taylors Knowle Spring
    3 Piers West Coast Blonde
    Navigation Rebel
    Heritage Charringtons Oatmeal Stout

All beers were in good shape, the Navigation Rebel wins by a nose from the West Coast Blonde and Oatmeal Stout.
Not a lot of action expected in the coming week either.

Another disappointingly quiet week with BOTW Oakham Bishops Farewell being the only cask offer. No complaints about that though.

Very little pub time, this week.

    North Riding - Citra.*
    Half Moon - Dark Masquerade.*
    Small World - Harvest Muse.

The Citra was last week's winner and was on fine form again, this week. However, the Dark Masquerade, a lovely rich mild (3.6%), more than held its own. Taken in Harry's Bar, Wakefield.

Well sadly a minor health issue prevented Shrewsbury, but Hope and Union in Stockton served up the unbelievably good Lervig - Coconuts. 12.5% and deservedly over a fiver a half...
