A pleasant week with some local sampling and a trip to Staffordshire/Cheshire

    Acorn - Barnsley Bitter
    Saltaire - No5 Stout
    Turning Point - Lucid Dream
Brass Castle - Very Bad Kitty (keg)
    Blackjack - Black Maria
    North Riding - Cappuccino Stout
    Hopback - Summer Lightning
    Whim - Earl Grey Bitter
    Marstons - Bass
    Salopian - Oracle
    Redwillow - Weightless
    Wincle Beer Co - Ratter
    Jolly Brewers - Froth Blower
    Joules - Slumbering Monk
    Whim - Flower Power
    Bollington - Oat Mill Stout
    Poynton - Darkside Porter
    Black Sheep - Pale Ale

The Very Bad Kitty was as sublime as I expected but probably qualifies for 'ow much! as it was £9.50 a pint (9% ABV). BOTW was Joules Slumbering Monk.

Another good week for me. I seem to be on a bit of a roll, after Sheffield.

    Nailmaker - 20Five.
    Nailmaker - Clout.
    Revolutions - Marquee.*
    Grumpy Ales (Nailmaker) Port Stout.
Vedett - Extra Ordinary IPA. (keg)
Totally Brewed - Idaho IPA. (keg)
    Naylors - Liquorice Libation.
    Oakham - Citra.*
    Yorkshire Heart - Blackheart Stout.
    Fernandes - Mosaic.
    Abbeydale / Thornbridge - Rita.*
    Abbeydale - Forge IPA.*
Chin Chin - Mild at Heart.
    North Riding - Cascade.
    Stringers - IPA.
    Darkland - Drakkar.
    Jolly Sailor - Selby Blonde.
    Fernandes - Malt Shovel Mild.
    Fernandes - Octohop.*
    Fernandes - Black Voodoo.
    Mallinsons - Ella.

Another week where the standard was pretty high, overall. The Forge, a hazy 6% NEIPA just shades it.

Four reasonably regular ones for me:

    Brancaster Oystercatcher*
    Adnams Ghost Ship*
    Abbeydale Moonshine*
    Oakham Bishops Farewell*

Enjoyed them all but the Adnams Ghost Ship just shades BOTW as it was there, in top nick, on a warm evening when it was most needed.

    Not a bad week

    Dark Star Hophead
    Dark Star American Pale Ale*
    Burning Sky Tony Evans IPA*
    Vibrant Forest Black Forest*
    Southy Pale Ale*
    Northern Monk Striding Edge*
    Bowmans Agincourt
    Southwick Old Dick
    Ainsty Flumoxed Farmer*
    Flowerpots Perridge Pale*
    Five Points Pale
    Church Brew Lazy Day Lager
    Pressure Drop Pale Fire*
Deviant & dandy Looks Like Hazy
    Bristol Beer Co Notorious
    Camden Hells
    Kernal Export India Porter*
    Wantsum Amirillo
    Black Tor Blonde

Some top quality beer in Brighton last Tuesday provided the BOTW Burning Sky Tony Evans IPA,7.0% and not cheap at £3.65 a half, the barman forewarned me but I'm glad I went for it ,sublime, as was the Dark Star APA also in The Evening Star.
