    Taken in TN17:

    Holler-West Coast IPA 5.5%abv:Chewy,resinous tooth coating hops.Oranges.
Cellar Head-Amber Ale 4%abv:Well rounded,floral.Marmalade.Has pleasing echoes of an old school bitter.
    Harvey's-Sussex Best Bitter 4%abv: Yep,it's Harvey's.

My BOTW-Holler West Coast IPA,not often seen in my neck of the woods.

    A decent week.

    Hop Studio - Pale.
    Beespoke - Clocktower Porter.
    Rat - Ratchet Strap.
    Beatnikz Republic - Kentucky Riot.*
    Ilkley - Lotus IPA.*
    Roosters - Baby Faced Assassin.*
    North Riding - Citra.*
    3Bs - Stokers Slake.
    Small World - Thunderbridge Stout.
    Reedley Hallows - Pendleside.

Quite a close call, this week. However, the Lotus, an old favourite, made with plenty of American hops, takes the honours.

Just three pubs visited last week, but a couple of them several times.

    Flagship Sublime
    Great North Eastern Hopnicity*
    4Ts BPA (Blueberry Pale Ale)*
    Red Rock Midnight Zone
    Gorgeous Geek Hunter
    Burning Sky Summertime*

Most of it good stuff and BOTW this week goes to the same brewer as last, this time it's Burning Sky Summertimein the reliable Antelope.

A JDW onlt week for me :-

    Portobello VPA 4.0%
    Southwark Bermodnsey Best 4.4%
    Reunion Beardtongue 4.5%
    Portobello Market Porter 4.6%
    Hook Norton Old Hooky 4.6%
    ELB Cowcatcher 4.8%

I thought the Bermondsey Best was a good BBB although amber rather than brown but the winner is ELB Cowcatcher (£2.09) at the E11 Walnut Tree.

    Dipping for the tape:

    Dunham Massey Lyme IPA
    4Ts IPA
    Marble Manchester Bitter
    Abbeydale Voyager IPA*
    Hopstead Porteresque
    Moorhouses Nick O*
    North Pale
    Marble Berimbolo*
    Marble Earl Grey IPA*
    Marble Jonah’s Stout*
    Barshams Mr Franks
    Adnams Ghost Ship*
    Nobbys Plum Porter
    Woodfordes Nelsons Revenge*

No competition for the Marble beers which were all excellent. BOTW Marble Berimbolo. No description as it flew out of the glass so fast that the memory’s a touch blurred. Superb and a BOTY contender.
