Very good week for beer. Tried the following:

    Great Heck: Heck's Angel
    Hardknott: Continuum
    Ashover: Hydro
    Great Heck: AAA
    Oldershaw: Sunnydaze
    Fernandes: American Pale
    Fernandes: Chimera
    Fernandes: Sunshine IPA
    Fernandes: Aniseed Porter
    Dark Star: American Pale Ale
    Clark's: Classic Blonde

A clear winner though in Ashover'Hydro', my BOTW.

Another Salamander beer 'Oggy'? They must owe you some shares in the brewery!

Hmm… not an entirely satisfying quaffing week, with plenty of multi-coloured gunk, ‘Snake Bite’ and warm bottles of Becks lowering the tone – it wasn’t until Sunday and 4-pints of the god-like Doom Bar that HTM69 could raise a smile.

14 and-a-half pints supped over 3-day period. There were bottles consumed also, but couldn’t be arsed to count ‘em.

    Guinness x 3 1/2
    Spitfire x 2
    Young’s Bitter x 2
    Snake Bite (Carlsberg + Strongbow, I believe) x 1
    Hogs Back HOB x 1
    Skinners Betty Stogs x 1
    Sharps Doom Bar x 4

    BOTW: Sharp's Doom Bar

Hope I've not missed the boat here. The Orkney 'Dark Island' duly arrived, if a little late, was duly quaffed, and, as I expected is My BotW..........
