    Default The Good Intent

Craddock's brewery (from the Duke William in Stourbridge) are planning to open a new bar in Birmingham.

The idea is to donate all profits to charity. They have set up a Crowdfunder page to raise money for the project.

This sounds like an interesting idea to me and I hope it works out for them. I have nothing to do with this scheme and I hope no-one minds me posting it - I just thought it may be of interest to some of you.

I have only read it through quickly but it looks like if you pledge £25 you will receive a voucher for £40 worth of drinks - assuming it opens of course!

It looks like it's going to be in the Great Western Arcade which is on the East side of that green space behind the Wellington that is between New Street and Snow Hill stations.

Things are moving, with work going on inside the middle unit on the cathedral side. More details are also available on the Great Western Arcade website.

Walked past the Good Intent hoardings in the Great Western Arcade again this morning, so it's interesting to see the photographs of what's going on inside.
