A pub is for life not just for Christmas

I loved The Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge, a lovely old traditional pub, now community owned. Great beer and a warm welcome. Just my sort of place

My dodgt knees have curtailed most days out but I did manage a short stay in Wigan in early February. This gave me a lengthy stop in Wigan Central before getting the train back. It's not really a micropub but is a great place.

Right at the end of the month there was a clear winner for me, the Dove St Inn in Ipswich. A contender for my top ten, if that list isn't confusing enough already.
