A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Short lists are unfortunately par for the course at the moment,
Navigation Rebel
Castle Rock Harvest Pale
Ossett Yorkshire Blonde
Slaters 1 Hop
Tollgate Old Rasputin
Great Heck Proverbs 31:7
All of these were good, but I have to repeat last weeks BOTW taken in the same place just 30 hours or so later , Navigation Rebel, lovely beer.

-W.C.Fields
Brew York's X-Panda.
Marco Paulo -Genius stout.
My knees have been giving me grief this week which restricted play to three local JDWs :-
Reunion Opening Gambit 3.8%
ELB Fox Session Pale 4.1%
Burton Bridge Porter 4.5%
ELB Nightwatchman 4.5%
ELB Cowcatcher 4.8%
Sambrook's Powerhouse Porter 4.9%
Brewdog Punk IPA (keg) 5.4%
I didn't think the keg Punk was as good as the slightly stronger cans. The easy winner is the ELB Cowcatcher for £2.15 in the Wanstead George. I did get to try some Festival gins and the Aber Falls one was the best.
BOTW ELB Cowcatcher
Kent and West Sussex. All beer from Sussex this week.
Cellar Head-India Pale Ale 5%abv.Unfined,not murky.Juicy, fir tree hops.
Firebird-Parody Session IPA 4.5%abv.Hazy gold,blackcurrants,moreish.
Harveys- Sussex XXXX Old Ale 4.3%abv.First sighting for this year.Silky, hedgerow berries, superb.
Bedlam- Hibernation 4.8%.Just a taster:a wheat beer with orange peel and coriander. Better than it sounded.
First three equally appreciated, but my BOTW is Firebird-Parody .
