A better week than I was expecting in and around London.

Mc Mullens -- Rivertown Brewing APA
    Marston's -- Pedigree
    Firebird -- Parody
Sam Smith -- Old Brewery Bitter
    Nelson's -- Trafalgar Bitter
    Greene King -- Yardbird Pale
    Oakham -- Bishops Farewell * (>3PT)
    Saltaire -- Amarillo *
    Saltaire -- Triple Chocoholic *

The last three were excellent and BOTW goes to Oakham Bishops Farewell on top form in The Mansion House, not sure how much I actually consumed during a lengthy session.

Next week some boating haunts before flying off to warmer climes.

Likewise a little better than expected with an off the cuff trip to Southampton Saturday.
    Salopian Shropshire Gold
    Flowerpots Perridge Pale
    Bristol Beer Factory Milk Stout
    Dark Star Hophead Pekko
    Robinsons Trooper
    Elusive Time & Magic
    Vibrant Forest Chinook
Unity This Must Be The Place
    Milestone Sherwood Pale
    Three Castles Tiddly Dyke
    Leeds Leeds Pale

Best of the lot was Unity This Must Be The Place on keg in The Butchers Hook.

A better week than last week's disaster. I've noticed the days getting slightly longer which helps.

    Southwark London Pale Ale 4.0%
    Reunion Beardtongue 4.5%
    Lymestone Seven Stone Weakling 4.7%
    Sambrook's Powerhouse Porter 4.9%
    Titanic Plum Porter 4.9%
    Ashover Liquorice Stout 5.0%
    Southwark Comet Single Hop 5.0%
    Inadequate Cascade Mosaic Pale 5.0%
    Phoenix Porter 5.0%
    Brentwood Falcon Punch 5.1%
    Lymestone Cherry Stone 5.2%
    Brewdog Punk IPA (keg) 5.4%
    Weal's Lemon And Ginger 5.5%
    Tapstone Opium Wars 5.6%

The easy winner (although most others were good) is the Inadequate Cascade Mosaic Pale tried at it's home the excellent Holy Inadequate in the middle of nowhere between Hanley and Newcastle under Lyme.

A decent week for me, managing three sessions. That's about as good as it gets these days.

    Tigertops - A&E.*
    Hawkshead - Brodie's Prime.
    Great Heck - Yakima IPA.*
    Gun - Pale.
    Empire - Moonraker's Mild.
    Horbury - What Now.
    Saltaire - New Grounds.
    Parkway - Resolution.
    Exit 33 - Winter Warrior.*
    North Riding - Enigma.*
    Empire - Fakir.
    North Riding - American Pale.
    Thornbridge - Hopton.
    North Riding - Mosaic.*
    Titanic - White Star.
    Thornbridge - Crackendale.
North Riding - Milk Chocolate Stout.

Some very good beers, this week. The Winter Warrior, a complex, strong dark ale, containing treacle, takes the honours. A special mention for the A&E, a wonderfully bitter copper beer, which was the chosen brew for the Tuesday night '£1 a pint' offer in Harry's Bar. Certainly enjoyed my fiver's worth!
