A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Hawkshead-New Zealand Pale Ale. In Stockton's Golden Smog.
Fisher's DAPA (bottle) (8.5%)
"Breakneck speed we drown ten pints of bitter"
Wylam -Hickey the Rake (2 pints )
Very poor week.
Mc Mullens -- Rivertown Brewing APA
and by default BOTW Mc Mullens Fisherman Ale ,a house beer and almost certainly rebadged Country Bitter in here.
Next week equally poor until the footie hoves into view.
"Good people drink good beer" Hunter S Thompson

Bad Co - Wild Gravity

Goose Eye - Pommies Revenge
Goose Eye - Over & Stout
Harrogate - Stray
Roosters - First World Problems
Bristol Beer Factory - El Choco
Brew York - Maris the Otter
Brew York - Tonkoko

Quality not quantity this week, any of the last seven on the list could be BOTW but if I had to Brew York Tonkoko
Another two pub week
Flowewrpots Perridge Pale
Ramsbury Gold
Severn Chocolate Stout
Isle Of Avalon Pomparles Porter
Adnams Mosaic (keg)
The Porter was decent but the Perridge Pale was excellent and BOTW.
"Everybody's got to believe in something. I believe I'll have another beer."
-W.C.Fields
A very average week.
Northern Monk - Eternal.*
Blue Bee - Tempest Stout.*
Ilkley - Holy Raspberry.
Salt - Jute.*
Oakham - JHB.
Stancill - Blizzard.
North Riding - Cascade.
Great Heck - Patrick.
Five Towns - La Mure.
Empire - Porter.
Acorn - Old Moor Porter. (bottle)
Saltaire - Cascade. (bottle)
Mount St Bernard Abbey - Tynt Meadow. (bottle)
The Eternal was the comfortable winner, this week. I always have to try it, if I see it on the pumps, anywhere. Sampled, on this occasion, in The Hop, Wakefield. Finally got round to trying some Tynt Meadow (English Trappist Ale) and although it was good, I found it a little underwhelming, lacking intensity, for my palate.

'And where he supped the past lived still. And where he sipped the glass brimmed full' John Barleycorn, Carol Ann Duffy.
BOTW Marble - Rainy Giraffe (can). A 6.5% melon India Pale Lager. Sounds bizarre but was tasty and refreshing.
