Some good pub news for a change: Big Smoke have taken over what became The Alexander gastropub in Oatlands and are reverting the name to The Flintgate Ale & Cider House from 1 November. With 10 ales and 5 ciders promised, no doubt including some of their excellent dark beers, things are definitely looking up!
