Kent: yet another quiet week-next week looks to be even quieter.
Bedlam-Amagansett 5% abv. A bit out of my pub beer comfort zone, but hey.Wall fruit, melons.Rich ,oily mouthfeel.Burnished gild APA. My BOTW

    Default Boom Juice

Somehow the Boom Juice from Mobberley Brewhouse managed to escape from Cheshire and make it down to deepest Kent, but this 3.6% "tropical pale" proved to be a very tasty and drinkable low ABV beer that travelled well.

A compact but in the main good beer list aided and abetted by The Nags Head in Reading.
    Flowerpots Perridge Pale
    Hopback GFB
    Lagunitas Daytime (bottle)
    Siren Suspended in Ekuanot
    Siren Broken Dream
    Vibrant Forest Rubus
    Elusive/Landlocked Highway 61
    Marble/Takk Uppe Hella Natten
    Arbour Mosaic
    Green Jack Summer Dream

Some pleasant beer there but the current champion beer of Britain was in champion form in The Nags, BOTW Siren Broken Dream

Not expecting much for the next couple of weeks.

    Chiltern Kop Hill Ale (3.7%).

A small-batch yearly brew, made to coincide with the annual Kop Hill Climb near Princes Risborough.

    A fairly modest week :-

    Holden's Black Country Mild 3.7%
    Holden's Black Country Bitter 3.8%
Mad Dog Third Eye Blind 3.8%
    Fuller's Oliver's Island 3.8%
    Black Sheep Threedom 4.2%
    Lord Conrad's Lobster Licker 4.2%
    Shiny Wrench 4.4%
    Oakham Musashi 4.4%
    Tollgate Kalika IPA 4.5%
    Enville Ginger 4.6%
    Ascot Dark Horse 4.6%
    Fownes Seven Crowns 4.5%
    Elgood's Beer Goggles 5.0%
    Holden's Special 5.1%
    Prescott Grand Prix 5.2%
    Dancing Duck Abduction 5.5%

A surprise winner this week from a brewery thay I associate with being "old school" although I do prefer their Riggwelter to Old Peculier. It's the Black Sheep Threedom as tried for £3.60 in the White Horse in Milton (Cambs). It's something of a low abv New World hop bomb. There was nothing offensive in this week's selection.

Herts/Essex borders and Ham. Some really indifferent ales.

    Oakham -- White Dwarf
Mc Mullens -- Country Bitter *
Mc Mullens -- Rivertown Brewing Midas
    Mc Mullens -- AK
Long Man's -- American Pale Ale
    Young's -- Bitter
    Fullers -- Oliver's Island
    Mc Mullens -- Cask

In a sea of mediocrity BOTW goes to Mc Mullens Country Bitter ,in as good a state as it is possible to get this beer from The Crown.

Next week ,after delays caused by a faulty diesel injection pump back up the Great Ouse and hopefully a better beer selection.
