The former Snug in Godalming is now The Wharf Indian restaurant and bar. They do claim "pub" in their blurb so I guess they should remain.

On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement
It doesn't look much like somewhere you can pop in just for a drink but it says "bar" so benefit of the doubt. Thanks for the update.
