The Swan With Two Necks This one ticked all the boxes, a worthy former winner of Pub of the Year

Meant to give an honourable mention to this one too, another excellent place - you could spend hours in here Bowland Brewery Beer Hall

    Charters in Peterborough.

Any boozer which you can moor up to has to have the vote especially as it serves well kept Oakham beer.

    Default The Grotto, Mardsen

Rather late, and if it were situated anywhere else it might just scrape a '6', but I thought this place (in its setting) was just fantastic: The Grotto.

Blimey - it must have taken a couple of hours to get the guests down and back up in the old lift!
