After a fallow year, I am back with a new challenge for this year.

It's "county in a (long) weekend". So I'm aiming to do all the pubs in Rutland between opening time on Thursday and late Sunday afternoon along with Jimmy, Deggy and his trusty steed, the Blue Flame.

Rutland disappeared for many years. Does anyone know if the reinstated County had exactly the same boundaries as before?

Rutland disappeared for many years. Does anyone know if the reinstated County had exactly the same boundaries as before?

I believe the "ceremonial" counties have their traditional boundaries, that is those boundaries that came into existence following the local government reorganisation of the late 1880s.

Talk of boundaries is a can of worms that should be avoided at all times
