A pub is for life not just for Christmas

Really enjoyed the CT, a strong coffee porter, but the Dissolution just shaded it. Sampled at Tapped.

Kent:Too bloody hot and few cellars in my area :my cask beer was limited to a couple of non- descript pints of Sheps Whitstable Bay Pale Ale.

Howard Town - Monk's Gold at 4%, a perfect golden session ale on a sunny day in The Swan With Two Necks

The winner is the Mallinson Spruce Goose as tride for £3.40 in the excellent Calans micropub in Hebden Bridge where I got a seat inside for the first time ever due to the nice weather and World Cup. Honourable mention must go to the Vocation Time & Space which was a whopping £3.10 a half in the Hebden Bridge Vocation but was a superb smooth strong dark beer. I'd also like to raise a glass to all the pubs / bars found in Macclesfield and Hebden Bridge that DIDN'T HAVE A TV!
