    Boutilliers-Happiness Patrol:4.8%abv-Burnished pale ale.Summer fruit,nettley hops.Steel in the backbone. Styrian Wolf hops.(No, me neither.)A new beer from another Faversham Brewery.

    Easy winner of BOTW,Redemption Little Chief .A dialled down version of Big Chief but still bursting with hops,thirst quenching on a sweaty evening in the ever reliable Old Cross Tavern.

    Next week boating through Northamptonshire,quitting the Oxford Canal for the first time in 7 months.

    Best of the bunch was the Perridge in the Waggon & Horses
