Limited week but some good quality:

    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Pomana Island Pale*
    Raw Grey Ghost IPA*

BOTW Raw Grey Ghost IPA. Another brewery new to me and this 5.9% American IPA went down very well.

Very similar to last week, with a decent amount of variety, but not much to quicken the pulse.

    Thornbridge - Crackendale.
    Weird Beard - Black Perle.
    Kelham Island - Kelham Best.
    North Riding - Citra.*
    Small World - Spring Bank.
    Fernandes - 60/- Shilling Mild.*
    Fernandes - Mr Bumble.
    Five Towns - Liberty.
    Elgoods - Black Dog.
Fernandes - Ale to the Tsar.
    Rat - Rat-Punzel.
Magic Rock - High Wire Grapefruit. (Keg)
    Elgoods - Fork Handles.

The winner is a sweetish, golden mild with some caramel flavours. Not normally my sort of thing, but at least it had some oomph.

There's a Scottish slant to this week's list probably due to the fact that all pubs visited were in Scotland.

    Fyne Jarl 3.8%
Findos IPA (rebadged house beer) 3.8%
    Harviestoun Bitter and Twisted 3.8%
    MoR Tea Vicar? 3.8%
    Alechemy Ritual 4.1%
    Inveralmond Ossian 4.1%
    MoR Ish! 4.2%
    Lerwick Azure 4.3%
    Tryst Double Chocolate Porter 4.4%
    Belhaven Bridge To Nowhere 4.5%
    Kelburn Jaguar 4.5%
    Knops Musselburgh Broke 4.5%
    North Yorkshire NYPA 4.6%
    St Austell Harpoon Skipper 4.9%
    Fallen Grapevine 5.4%
    Broughton's Glasgow Cross 5.5%
    Marston's Old Empire 5.7%
    Oakham Green Devil IPA 6.0%
    Windswept Wolf 6.0%

None of the beers are in the same league as the one from the Cambs Kings so the winner is the Oakham Green Devil IPA. This was £3.50 in Glasgow's State Bar and £2.59 in the Sir John Moore JDW where an intensive investigation of it took place before getting the train back. Was it better in one or the other? No, it tasted exactly the same in both, including the first one in the JDW.
