A very staid week variety - wise

    Hop Back GFB
    Otter Amber
    Courage Directors
    4 T's APA
    Nethergate Priory Mild
    Nethergate Stour Valley Gold

BOTW is the Stour Valley Gold in tip top condition here, at £3.50 a pint, good value for Surrey.

Lots of new beers this week but

None of these were poor but it's difficult to find anything outstanding :-

    Woodforde's Wherry 3.8%
    Bath Prophecy 3.8%
    Nottingham Rock Mild 3.8%
    Maypole Mayfair 4.1%
    Oakham Citra 4.2%
    Hobson's Town Crier 4.5%
    Old Sawley Tollbridge Porter 4.5%
Colchester Brazilian Coffee & Vanilla Porter 4.6%
    Lancaster Red 4.8%
    Salopian Renaissance 5.0%
    Peerless Oastmeal Stout 5.0%
Black Country Ales Millennial Pale Ale 6.0%

The three regular BCA beers are OK but not likely to be beer of the week so I'll go for the Millennial Pale Ale. Although not a hop bomb it was enjoyable in the Lych Gate Tavern for £3.70.

Pimlico,Oxford and the Upper Thames,a very strong week.

Hopcraft -- We Come In Peace
Hopcraft -- Profit of Doom *
    Torrside -- I'm Spartacus *
Hopcraft -- West Side Oak *
Buxton -- Nippy Sweetie * (keg)
Greene King -- "Hardy & Hanson" Kimberley Bitter
    White Horse -- War Horse
    Slaters -- Western APA *
    Titanic -- Plum Porter *
    Loose Cannon -- Recoil *
    Marstons -- EPA
    Ramsbury -- Gold (bottle)
    Stonehenge -- Danish Dynamite * (3PT)
    Animal -- Hopcat *
    Little Ox -- Wipeout * (3PT)
    Fullers -- "Gales" HSB *

Lots of quality but the standout BOTW was Torrside I'm Spartacus on immaculate form in the Cask.A 6.8% complex IPA,multi layered and if ordered at a busy bar later in the evening it can elecit a predictable chorus.

Next week includes a trip to the Nags Head in Reading and footie so there should be a strong list.

A very decent week with some familiar names from above:

    Birra Moretti
    White Horse War Horse
    Slaters Western APA*
    Titanic Plum Porter*
    Animal Ostrich*
    Marstons Shipyard APA (keg)
    Ramsbury Gold (bottle)
    Stonehenge Danish Dynamite*
    Mr Grundy Bullet
    Little Ox Wipeout*
    Oakham Bishops Farewell*

Enjoyed the Ostrich and the Wipeout especially but BOTW was Slaters Western American Pale Ale. A good example of the style and very welcome on a warm day.

    Reasonable week for me.

    Oakham - Citra.
    Yeovil - Lynx Wildcat.
    Adnams - Mosaic.*
Titanic - Chocolate & Vanilla Stout.
    Great Heck - Treasure IPA.
    Ilkley - Crossroads IPA.*
    Tiny Rebel - Morning Glory.
North Riding - US Session v32.
Welbeck Abbey - Let's Get Fiscal.
    Five Towns - Owt'll Do.*

The winner is a strong mild, with a hint of rum. Drinks a lot better than it sounds.

Dark Horse Blonde. A 3.9% easy drinking pale ale. Tried a couple of times in the Medicine Tap
