Plenty of choice for me this week but it will have to be a MILD from the Midlands, even Banks's is good on its home patch but I'll go with a prize winner, Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby Mild

Tell us, now, how and when
We may find the bravest men?
A sure test, an easy test:
Those that drink beer are the best

yes I know and I drank it at the Beacon in Sedgeley

Come to think of it that might be my pub of the month

Another disappointing showing for HTM69 on the ale front, with just the 10-and-a-half pints over a two-day period.

    Marston's Merry Monk x 1
    Spitfire x 5
    Masterbrew x 1
    Batemans Miss Russia x 3 1/2

BOTW: Batemans Miss Russia: a tasty pint, though nothing spectacular, sadly.

Just realised I havenít nominated yet. It was a choice between two dark beers enjoyed on Saturday and the Elgoods Black Dog just lost out to Leeds Midnight Bell.
I've just joined Alcoholics Anonymous - I still drink, just under a different name.

A bit late but I haven't had any access to a PC. Beer of the week from my first week of travels was Deeside Lulach at the Douglas Arms in Banchory
