Kent-Sussex was rammed on Easter Saturday

Pig and Porter-Slave to the Money 4.1%abv.Described as a Bitter, which is quite unusual these days.Blackcurrants, mineral notes, sweetish finish.Bit more body than some P&P beers.

    Hop Back GFB
    Flowerpots Perridge Pale*
    Purity Pure Gold
    Hopcraft Temple Of Love
    Siren Suspended in Wolf*
    Vibrant Forest Fraxinus*
    BrewDog Bluberry Zeyphr*

After two weeks of a keg beer taking first prize Cask makes a comeback with Siren Suspended In Wolf BOTW, an unfined pea souper enjoyed in the Nags Head Reading. Gorgeous.

    Almost a dry week:

    Ghost - Kylo
    Black Sheep - Holy Grail
    Nomadic - Freyja
    Ossett - Big Red
    Roosters - Baby Faced Assassin

All excellent with the exception of the Black Sheep, so BOTW Ghost - Kylo yet another dark beer.

    Better week for me.

    Saltaire - Amarillo Gold.
    Great Newsome - Holderness Dark.
    Vocation - Homegrown.
    Half Moon - Dark Masquerade.*
    Magpie - Baby Bird.
    Magpie - One for Sorrow.
    Nethergate - IPA.
    Great Heck - Styrian Dragon.*
    Three Brothers - The Beginning.
    Thornbridge - McConnels.*
    Great Heck - Trafalgar.
Hop Studio - Fire & Ice.
    Surrey Ales - Albury Ruby.*
    Blackjack - King of Clubs.*
    North Riding - Mosaic.*
    Mallinsons - Chinook.*
    Horbury - Tiramisu.*

Some strong contenders there, but the King of Clubs, a 7.4% impy stout, really hit the spot, on a cold, damp Easter Sunday afternoon.

Mixed bag in some old haunts.

    Mc Mullens -- Country Bitter
    Mc Mullens -- AK
    Marston's -- Deep 61 (3PT)
    Charles Wells (Marston's) -- Directors
    Adnams -- Ghost Ship *
    Tillingbourne -- Hop Troll *(3PT)

BOTW easily won by Tillingbourne Hop Troll in The George. The regular Saltaire and Burning Sky selection at the upper bar was replaced by a tap takeover from Adnam's ,but thankfully the Hop Troll was showing on the lower bar and saved the day.

Next week not much on besides a very short boat move via Thrupp.

Funky Hop Donkey - Funky Lite. This is actually RAW brewery in Chesterfield, don't know why they've gone for a rename in this case.

It's only 3.6%, but really packs in the hops. Tried several times in The Baum.
