Sadly not Huddersfield instead Richmond,Banbury,Croydon and Shoreditch for a decent week.

    St Austell --Proper Job *
    Mc Mullen's -- Country Bitter
West Berkshire -- Maggs Magnificent MILD
    Byatt's -- Vienna Pale
    Byatt's -- Platinum Blonde *
    Saltaire -- Amarillo Gold * (3PT)
    Saltaire -- Blonde
Panda Frog Project (Mordue's experimental arm) -- Pandarillo *
    Burning Sky -- Plateau *

BOTW goes to Panda Frog Project Pandarillo ,described as a session pale ale with amarillo and citra hops it was bursting with flavours and on top form in the hipster central venue Commercial Tavern.

Next week looks a lot less exciting.

It's finally beginning to pick up for me :-

    Batham's Mild 3.5%
    Holden's Black Country Mild 3.7%
    Holden's Black Country Bitter 3.8%
    Marston's Wainwright 4.1%
    Batham's Best 4.3%
    Holden's Golden Glow 4.4%
    Hobson's Town Crier 4.5%
    Fixed Wheel Domestique 4.5%
    Nethergate Old Growler 5.0%
    Salopian Golden Thread 5.0%
    Holden's Special 5.1%
    Jenning's Snecklifter 5.1%
    Salopian The Bends 5.2%
    Welton's Broadwood Wassail 6.1%
    Gun Zamzama IPA 6.5%
    Elland 1872 Porter 6.5%
    Holden's Old 7.2%
    Sarah Hughes Snowflake 8.0%

I'm going for the Domestique as tried for £3.10 in the Wolverhampton Great Western. It's a new world hoppy thing and the name does have a cycling connection, something to do with the Tour De France and the like.

Unfortunately, just a very quick session, this week.

    Tigertops - Simply Hopped.
North Riding - US Session IPA v29.*
North Riding - Christmas Pudding Porter.*
Kelham Island - Bring Me Sunshine.

Both the NR brews were excellent, but I enjoyed the Porter much more this week (compared to last week), probably because it was on a fresher palate. It's had some stick on beer tasting sites for being too clove dominated, in the flavour profile, but I have to say I loved it. A 7.4% spicy, Christmas delight.

Out saving pubs and enjoying it.

A restrained week with no beer whatsoever over the weekend.

    Wye Valley HPA
    Purity Pure Gold
    Castle Rock Harvest Pale
    Exmoor Mild
    Lagunitas Day Time (bottle)

All drank down the local, the Exmoor Mild was spot on and made a nice change from the usual pale beers , Its BOTW.

BOTW Fullers/Hardknott Peat Souper (bottle). A 7% smoked porter which is startlingly bitter and smokey to begin but mellows very quickly to smooth moreishness.
