    Reunion Talwar
    Purity Pure Gold
    Flowerpots Perridge Pale

    Goose Island Goose IPA
    Hammerton N1
    Five Points Railway Porter
    Howling Hops Pale

The Five Points Railway Porter was easily BOTW, unfortunately ridiculously priced at £5.00 a pint in The Marksman.

A list that Custodian 42 would be proud of :-

    Slater's Columbia Coffee Stout 4.5%
    Intrepid Single Hopped Pale 4.5%
    Kent The New Black 4.8%
    Thornbridge Jaywick 4.8%
Burton Bridge Top Dog Stout 5.0%
    True North Stout 5.0%
    Ticketybrew East India Porter 5.0%
    Sarah Hughes Surprise 5.0%
    Elgoods North Brink Porter 5.0%
    Holden's Special 5.1%
    Boutilliers Green Hop Kolsch 5.2%
    Salopian The Bends 5.2%
    Slater's Haka 5.2%
    Holden's Dragon's Blood 5.6%
Dogbreath Smoke On The Water 5.8%
    Batham's XXX 6.3%
Titanic Plum Porter Grand Reserve 6.5%
    Holden's Old 7.2%
    Titanic Wreckage 7.2%
    Sarah Hughes Snowflake 8.0%

None of these were poor and there are several contenders so "When in doubt go for the strongest.", so it's the Sarah Hughes Snowflake in the famous Sedgley Beacon Hotel. It was £4.00 for the two halves that were duly transferred to a straight pint glass. One of several proper Xmas drinks.

A short but well formed week:

    Everards Tiger*
    Oakham Black Hole Porter*
    Abbeydale Advent*

BOTW Abbeydale Advent Another winner from Abbeydale - pale, gently fruity and just hoppy enough to be moreish. Easy to get carried away on at 4.6%.

Not a very popular thread this week for some reason.

Is everybody having a week off to prepare for the nightmare to come?

A fairly pedestrian week for me with Anarchy Boot Boys 5% tried a couple of times in the Flying Horse Hotel the winner.
