A reasonable week, variety wise, but very little that was truly exciting.

    Blackhill - Jet.
    Stancill - Summit.*
    Horbury - JFB Chinook.
    Oakham - Bishops Farewell.
    Ashover - Hydro.
    Horbury - Tiramisu Porter.*
    Elland - Amnesia.
    Small World - Harvest Muse.
    Rudgate - Ruby Mild.
    Fernandes - Grainiac.

The Tiramisu Porter was the pick of the bunch, brewed on site at the Brewers Pride, Ossett.

Atherstone,Hertford and south west London,a decent week.

    Oakham -- Citra *
    Frothblowers -- Midland Red *
    Church End -- Stout Coffin
    RedWillow -- Feckless
    Crouch Vale -- Simcoe
Farr Brew -- Our Greatest Golden
    Tring -- Drop Bar
    Oakham -- Bishops Farewell *
    Oakham -- Inferno
    Oakham -- JHB *
    Adnams -- Ghost Ship
    Roosters -- Code Red

BOTW goes to Oakham Bishops Farewell on immaculate form at The Mansion House, and only £3 per pint on their happy hour which lasted until 7.30pm on a Friday evening .

Next week a short break In Bruges, there will be some minor sampling along with sightseeing .

    Not a bad week :-

    Lacons Encore 3.8%
    Adnam's Mosaic Pale 4.1%
    Shiny Happy People 4.2%
    Downlands Old 4.4%
    Downlands Hop Contract 4.4%
    Great Orme Red Dragon 4.5%
    Nelson Baggywrinkle Brown 4.5%
    Abstract Jungle Casual Stout 4.6%
    Turning Point Disco King 4.6%
    Lacons Affinity 4.8%
    Peerless Red Rocks 4.8%
Totally Brewed Passion Fruit In The Face 4.8%
    Sambrook's Powerhouse Porter 4.9%
    South Hams Pandemonium 5.0%
    Kelham Island Pale Rider 5.2%
    Shiny Tombstone 5.5%
    Castle Rock Screech Owl 5.5%
    Dukeries Ard As N'ales 5.9%
    Oakham Blue Skies IPA 6.0%
    Gun IPA 6.5%

The Oakham Blue Skies is an obvious candidate but I'm picking a weaker one the Downlands Hop Contract as tried for £3.50 at the local Rose and Crown beer festival. It's the usual pale hoppy thing that won't be to the taste of some!!

Black Sheep-Best Bitter 3.8%abv:Unfashionable, but really vibrant . I was pleasantly surprised by how much this has improved over recent years.

    A minimal but interesting week:

    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Elland 'Ell and Back
Beer Lovers DIPA a la vida (bottle)
    Beer Lovers LLOP (bottle)

Beer Lovers is a microbrewery based in Alcudia, Mallorca and both their LLOP (IPA) and DIPA were excellent and would stand against the best competition here.
BOTW Beer Lovers DIPA a la vida. A proper, flavoursome and moreish 6.9% DIPA.

    A mixed bag.

    Fullers London Pride
    Thornbridge Sampo
    Gales HSB
    Langhams Triple XXX
    Badseed Bunco
    Irving Iron Duke
    Irving 10:25
    Long Man American Pale Ale
    Lagunitas 12th of Never (can)
West Berks Mr Swifts Pale Ale

    Urban Island Citra
    Tiny Rebel Dirty Stop Out

I'm going for an honest session beer, BOTW Flowerpots Perridge Pale served in superb condition in Alfies.
