    Congleton and The City.

    Heineken -- Amstel (keg)
Marble -- Lagonda IPA * (bottle)
Blue Monkey -- Chimpagne * (bottle)
BrewDog -- Elvis Juice * (bottle)
    RedWillow -- Wreckless * (3PT)
    Bollington -- Oat Mill Stout
Marble -- Pawaka Waka * (keg)
    Siren -- Liquid Mistress
Gun -- Scaramanga Extra Pale *
Kent Brewery -- Dark Horse *

Some real quality this week and the bottles tasted great working down the Bosley Locks ,but BOTW goes to RedWillow Wreckless, fresh as a daisy an easy three pinter in The Young Pretender.

Next week nothing much on the horizon.

    Purity Mad Goose*
    Purity Pure Gold
    Gloucester Gloucester Gold*
    Gloucester Kiss My Grist*
    Wye Valley Golden Ale
    Wild Weather Beyond The Pale
    Wild Weather Serendipity*
    Twickenham Sundancer
    Surrey Hills Shere Drop*
    Orkney/Belhaven Kittiwake
    Downlands PAPA*
    Dark Star Greenhopped IPA*
    Oakham Citra*
    Wylam Hickey The Rake*
    Belhaven Bridge To Nowhere

Some very good beers amongst a little tedium.
There can be only one winner though, BOTW Dark Star Greenhopped IPA . A modern classic in fine fettle, enjoyed in Cobbetts.

A trip to Birmingham next Saturday may throw up something of interest.

This week saw a rampage through all the W Yorks Spoons I'd not been to plus one micropub :-

Hook Norton Cathcarts Xtra Pale Ale 4.2%
    Elland Chinook 4.6%
    Robinson's Trooper 4.7%
    Saltaire Galaxy Pale 5.0%
    Shepherd Neame Bishop's Finger 5.0%
    Small World Thunderbridge Stout 5.2%
    Goose Eye Pommies Revenge 5.2%
Goose Eye Over And Stout 5.2%
    Daleside Monkey Wrench 5.3%
    Little Critters Chameleon Simcoe 5.5%
    Thornbridge Jaipur IPA 5.9%
    Phoenix Wobbly Bob 6.0%
    Bridgehouse Cherry Choc Stout 6.0%
    Acorn Gorlovka Imperial Stout 6.0%
    Oakham Green Devil (Bottle) 6.0%

The Jaipur is the obvious candidate but I'm going for the Bridgehouse Cherry Choc Stout as tried in a couple of JDWs for just over two quid a pint. It's a strong stout with a hint of cherries. Most of the W Yorks JDWs seem to be pretty good with plenty of Locale options.
