    Not a bad week :-

    Holt's Mild 3.2%
    Hawkshead Windermere Pale 3.5%
    Holden's Black Country Bitter 3.8%
    Holt's Bitter 4.0%
    Hop Studio Vanilla Porter 4.3%
    Northallerton Lizzie D 4.4%
    Three Castles Autumn Daze 4.4%
    Amber Lime Stout 4.4%
    St Andrews Crail Ale 4.5%
    Saltaire Amarillo Gold 4.5%
Torrside West Of The Sun 4.5%
Big Bog Will O' The Wisp 4.7%
    Brunswick Rocket 4.7%
    Titanic Plum Porter 4.9%
Kelham Island Rock Me Amadeus 5.0%
    Peerless This Is Eccles 5.0%
    Holden's Special 5.1%
    Tombstone Big Nose Kate 5.2%
    Dancing Duck Abduction 5.5%
    Castle Rock Screech Owl 5.5%
    Phoenix Wobbly Bob 6.0%
    Brunswick Black Sabbath 6.5%
    Salopian Automaton 7.0%

I'm going for the Torrside West Of The Sun as tried for £3.30 in the excellent Alexandra near Derby station. It's a real hop bomb that would send one of the boring brown beer brigade into an apoplectic rage, If this hypothetical person were also to try the Lime Stout also on sale they would probably need restraining as it tasted heavily of lime and I thought should be added to Beer Hell along with Peanut Butter Mild, Peppermint IPA and all sours.

All the pints that I had were in good condition (and I had quite a few ) ,but a friend of mine tried a brew which had just come on,drinkable but murky and no indication on the pump clip that it was unfined, and hence meant to be like that. From my experience there is always the chance of something dodgy there but outweighed by the possibility of a great pint .

I've had more good experiences there than poor ,by some margin.

    More from Norfolk:

    Adnams Ghost Ship*
    Brancaster Sharpie K12
    Brancaster Oystercatcher*
    Norfolk Brewhouse Pacific Pale Ale*
    Oakham Bishops Farewell*

BOTW Brancaster Oystercatcher. A very drinkable, 4.4%, palish beer which whistles down on a hot day.
