Several excellent beers at the GBBF, mostly chosen at random, but finding the cask version of Fuller's London Porter topped the more obscure offerings.

Probably the best thing Fullers have ever done, shame it's not commonplace nowadays.

Ringwood - Boondoggle. In the Bulls Head outside Manchester Piccadilly station. Had to wait five minutes for it as a group ordered 22 pints of Carling.

    Further Sarf
    Purity Pure Gold
    Oakham Hanger 17
    Dark Star Hophead
    Timothy Taylor Ram Tam
    Goddards Fuggle De Dum
    Vibrant Forest Mosaic
    Tempest Drop Kick Me Jesus

    BrewDog Freshly Squeezed IPA

Not for the first time its keg that's come to the fore, both BrewDogs were excellent from the Southampton branch but I'm going for Tempest Drop Kick Me Jesus, enjoyed in the newly found Overdraft. , review to come shortly (not Shirley).

I may have been over critical of Titanic in the past but their Kiwi Fleet (£3.10 in the Derby Alexandra) shows they can still come up with an excellent very hoppy golden ale.

    Pretty quiet week, for me.

    North Riding - Mosaic Pale.*
    Brown Cow - Captain Oates.*
    Stod Fold - Ratau Cream.
    Horbury - JFB.
    Great Heck - Navigator.
    Rat - Ginger Rat.
    Rat - Fat Rat.
    Five Towns - Baby Blue.*
    Brightside - Topaz.
    Revolutions - Switch #4 (Cascade & Centennial)

The Mosaic and Captain Oates were the two stand out beers, this week. I hadn't seen the latter, a rich, dark mild for well over a year, so it was a must have. Lovely stuff.

Kronenbourg 1664 against a snatched couple of pints of BOTW Oakham Bishops Farewell. Easy decision.
