Charing Cross,Castleford and Leeds, leading to a big week.

Dark Star -- American Pale Ale *
    Southwark -- Oatmeal Stout
    Hop Stuff -- Fusilier
St Austell -- Proper Job *
    Revolutions -- Rattlesnakes *
    Kirkstall -- Three Swords
    Tigertops -- Equality Extra *
    Ridgeside -- Stargazer *
Phipps -- Gold Star Extra *
    Five Towns -- Nowt Stout
    Rat -- Reservoir Rats *
    Rat -- White Rat *
Northern Monk -- Faith * (keg)
Northern Monk -- Neopolitain * (keg)
Northern Monk -- Disobedience * (keg)
    Wild Beer -- Bibble
    Kirkstall -- Dissolution IPA *
Rat -- Number of the Rat
    Brakspear -- Oxford Gold

BOTW goes unusually to a keg,Northern Monk Neopolitain which true to the name delivered all the tastes you would expect from the said ice cream in their tap.It really shouldn't work but was memorable and very different.

Next week beginning of the booze cruise ,so ale from Leeds,Wakefield and Huddersfield should throw up some great contenders.

    Best week for some time:

    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Revolutions Rattlesnakes*
    Kirkstall Three Swords
    Ridgeside Stargazer*
Beer Nouveau East India Pale Ale*
    Tigertops Equality Extra*
    Phipps Gold Star
    Rat Resevoir Rats*
    Vocation Chop & Change*
    Northern Monk Faith (keg)*
    Northern Monk Striding Edge*
    Wild Beer Bibble
    Ilkley Crossroads IPA*
Rat The Number of the Rat

Tricky choice this week with some top quality beers. Those from Northern Monk and the Ilkley Crossroads IPA were highlights.

BOTW Ridgeside Stargazer tried at the first Woodfest, which had some excellent and unusual beers on. The Stargazer, kept in and served from a wooden barrel, kicked off with malty biscuit and mellowed into moreish bitterness. Tasty and unusual.

    Another good week for me.

Milk Street - Zig Zag Stout.
    Morton Collins - IPA.
    Abbeydale - Moonshine.
    Hop Studio - Vanilla Porter.*
    Vocation - Chop & Change.*
    Northern Monk - Striding Edge.
    Northern Monk - Disobedience.* (Keg)
    Wild Beer Co - Bibble.
    Ilkley - Crossroads IPA.*
    Brewsmith - Mosaic.
    North Riding - Citra Pale.*
    Five Towns - Nowt.*
    Five Towns - Impeachment.

The Citra, Vanilla Porter and Disobedience were probably the pick of the bunch, with the porter just shading it.

Saltaire Cascade. 4.8% of juicy loveliness, 3 pints at Croydon's George on Saturday. I'd have happily stayed for more.

    Mediterranean
    Corfu Beer Ionian Epos 7.5%
    Corfu Beer Contessa IPA 6.2
Corfu Beer Royal Ionian Pilsner 5.0%
    Corfu Beer Bitter Dark 5.0%
    Various Lagers

All the Corfu beer's we're decent for their type but the IPA was and continues to be excellent, unpasteurised and double fermented it's as good as any of its British and American counterparts that I've tried.
    Corfu Beer IPA BOTW.
Still here till Thursday night so more of the same.
