    Station Hotel.

An easy winner of POTM,Oggy is a lucky man to have this as his local.

Having spent June mostly chasing round "awkward" JDWs I don't have much to choose from so I'll go for this micropub partly in the hope that someone will get a better picture than the rubbish one I took! I must mention the JDW Caley Picture House in Eduinburgh, one of the top Spoons IMO.

The only new pub for me in the past month that comes anywhere near in a slim month is Ye Olde Kings Head, great trad pub but unfortunately with predictable beer options.

It doesn't adhere to all the tenets of the micropub mantra, but for enthusiasm, ambience, beer quality and service, it has to be Westhoughton's Beer School.
