So it has been rather poor week so I'll go for above...

I Tried several other beers later this week but the HIGHGATE BLACK PIG 4.4% ABV still ended up as my best beer of the week so the HIGHGATE BLACK PIG 4.4% ABV gets my vote.

Had some very good beers this week, but one stands head and shoulders above all the others - Crouch Vale Amarillo, as tried at the Old Fountain, Old Street.

A bit of a hefty beer weekend with Dartford Festival on Friday, Whitstable Brewery tirp on Saturday and my usual Sunday frollicks. I will opt for the Oxfordshire Maypole at the Wat Tyler in Dartford, firstly because it was an excellent pint and secondly becase I can't really remember the Festival or Brewery beers with any clarity! An equally hefty week coming up with 4 gigs and my trek to Scotland on Friday. Could be some inetresting selections as we head for the great Scottish World Cup remote pub crawl.
