Not a big list this week but quality as all were good :-

    Lincoln Green Marion 3.8%
    Shepherd Neame Spitfire Gold 4.0%
    Robinson's Unicorn 4.2%
    Barlow Dr Rudi 4.5%
    Flash House Original Porter 4.5%
    Brunswick Rocket 4.7%
    Titanic Plum Porter 4.9%
    Wincle Burke's Special 5.0%
    Abstract Jungle Sturdy IPA 5.6%
    Salopian Bulletproof 5.8%
    Ashover Thor Cake 5.8%
    Oakham Green Devil (Bottle) 6.0%
    Brunswick Black Sabbath 6.5%

I thought the Spitfire Gold would be a turkey but it was actually a pleasant low ABV golden ale much better than the original.
The winner is the Salopian Bulletproof as tried in the superb Olde Vic near the rear of Stockport Station.

    BOTW Salopian Bulletproof

A compact list from me as well,

    Castle Rock Harvest Pale
    Purity Pure Gold
    Marstons Power of Three
    Wychwood Hobgoblin Gold
    Little London Hoppy Hilda
    Branscombe Vale Mild
    Loddon Reading Dark
    Fuller's London Pride

As Aqualung was expecting a turkey in Spitfire Gold so was I with the Hobgoblin Gold and was likewise surprised with a decent beer ,
the nicest of the week however was Loddon Reading Dark ,a 4.2% Mild/Porter hybrid, enjoyed in The Plough.

Boating around the flat parts of Yorkshire.

    Abbeyside -- Moonshine *

BOTW can keep on going to Titanic Plum Porter,so gets awarded to Abbeydale Moonshine, perfect on a hot evening in the unlikely surroundings of Social,Doncaster.

A gentle wander round Hull was the basis of this week's sampling.

    Turning Point - Electric Eye.
    Castle Rock - Harvest Pale.
    Abbeydale - Moonshine.*
    Welbeck - Portland Black.
    Cathead - Golden Sunset.
    North Riding - Chinook.*
    Exit 33 - Avenoir.*

Easy winner was the Chinook, sampled in The Whalebone. A fantastic beer, in a great pub.

A familiar feel to this weeks list:

    BrewDog Punk IPA (keg)
    Airehead Rude,Crude & Brewed
    Steel City Bunch of Cnuts
    Abbeyside Moonshine *
    Old Mill Three Rivers
    Bosuns King Neptune
Isaac Poad No. 84 IPA *
    Hilltop American Pale Ale*
    Titanic Plum Porter *
    Oakham Bishops Farewell*

Some good ones there but I enjoyed BOTW Isaac Poad No. 84 IPA on a warm evening. A welcome new brewery to me.
