I shall be in Bath for a mate’s stag weekend. We’ll have won loads of money at Bath races during the day and watching the game in whichever of Bath’s pubs is big enough to take us all . Front runners are the Assembly, the Pig & Fiddle or the Ram.

It's my wife's birthday. I wonder if she'll want to celebrate it watching England play in the high class environment of the Earl Beatty?

So Rex, do we presume your answer to be 'The Earl Beatty'?
    Nope.

fyi, I noticed the Wibbas Down advertising coverage 'with sound'(!), and they do have 18(?) handpumps, ... & spoons do great deals on champagne.
    Nope.

Dead right Trainman. I really don't think that I could inflict the Wibbas Down on a Saturday night on my wife, especially as she would be singularly unimpressed by the 18 handpumps they have there. I reckon my best bet is to stay in, with me cooking dinner. To celebrate her birthday I could drink the bottles that my chum brought over from Chicago for me recently - Flying Dog Brewery "Raging Bitch"; Dogfish Head IPA; and Stockyard Oatmeal Stout. Hmm, this may not end well.

It's my mates Wife's 50th on that Saturday night, and England taking part in some kick about in Africa didn't have any negating effect on her demanding a party..

Fortunately, after some negotiation, his golf club was accepted as a venue on the basis that it has a big plazma and any other screen free venue could not guarantee our presence..... and his come to that !

We will be in Belgium. Looking forward to the second week when we will be in Holland. We were there when world cup was on once before and the atmosphere was brill, and everyone including shops got behind their team with the orange makeovers.
