A bit quieter this past week.

    Purity Pure Gold
    White Horse Village Idiot
    Greene King IPA Gold
    Twickenham Spring Ale
    Siren Yu Lu
    Five Towns Mi Usual
    Sentinel Zest Fest
    Hopcraft Dead Moon Calling
    Tilford Rushmoor Ripper

The best beer was easily Siren Yu Lu , it was the weakest strength of the bunch at 3.6% but by far the biggest flavour.

    Kent

Tonbridge-Countryman 4%abv- A delicious farmyard best bitter, earthy spicy hops in first rate condition.A welcome return to form from Tonbridge.
Shepherd Neame 3.7%abv-I used to enjoy this, but several year's avoidance has shown a deterioration-malty, but no hops to speak, and this from a major Kent based brewer!
    My BOTW-Tonbridge Countryman.

That's exactly how I've felt about Master Brew on the odd occasion I've tried it recently. I can only think the accountants must be telling the brewers how to make the beer. I haven't lost faith in them enough to put them on my avoid list yet but I'm reluctant to bother with their pubs unless I have time to kill. I first drank Sheps over 40 years ago in their Smithfield pub.

Another modest list this week :-

    Timothy Taylor Dark Mild 3.5%
    Timothy Taylor Golden Best 3.5%
Timothy Taylor Knowle Spring Blonde 4.2%
    Timothy Taylor Landlord 4.3%
    Nene Valley Egyptian Cream 4.5%
    Great Oakley Delapre Dark 4.8%
    Peerless Red Rocks 4.8%
Alphabet Hoi Polloi Pilsner (keg) 4.8%
Nene Valley Hop Stash - Simcoe 5.0%
    Fuggle Bunny Orchard Gold 5.0%
Wild Weather Go Man Go 5.1%
    Milestone Aegir 5.2%
    Serious Goldrush 5.6%
    Ticketybrew Dubbel (bottles) 6.5%

The Taylor's beers in the Hare & Hounds above Hebden Bridge were all very pleasant old school beers but the winner has to be the Peerless Red Rocks as tried for £2.49 in the new St Ives (Cambs) Swan & Angel JDW. It's sweeter than their usual offerings and is on the current JDW national list. I'm hoping to find lots of new beers / breweries next week.

A pretty good week for me.

    Neepsend - Solaris.
    Magpie - Raven Stout.*
    Revolutions - Candidate.
    Dr Morton's - Cattle Prod.
    Titanic - White Star.
    Hilltop - IPA.
    Nook - Oat Stout.
    Oakham - JHB.
    Exit 33 - Mosaic.*
    Salamander - IPA.
North Riding - US Session IPA, v21.*
    Tigertops. Hop Shift.*
    Hamelsworde - Harry's Bitter.
    Roosters - Maypole.
    Melwood - Liverpool Porter.
Five Towns - May Day DIPA.*
    Rat - Mother Rat.
    Bingley - Session IPA.
    Riverhead - Brewdica.
    Ilkley - Crossroads IPA.

The May Day (8.4%) and the US Session IPA were both very good, but the Mosaic was on absolutely stunning form, at The Hop, Wakefield. Moby, you'd have loved it.
