You bet I would, probably at a half sensible price I would guess?

Can't remember the exact price, but £3.00 - £3.10 is about right for The Hop. As I often say to southern based drinkers when they come up north, buy four pints and the fifth one is free!

£3 is a touch expensive for an Ossett pub even for a guest, £2.80 in our local one, maybe Wakefield's a bit posher

An unusual wek for me as Friday saw me drinking tank Pilsner Urquell and tank Krusovice along with Goose Island IPA in Manchester.

Back on the real stuff it came down to a choice of 2 opposites, both in The Baum.

Crate Golden, a 3.8% easy drinking session ale and Kelham Island Mod Mild, a 3.7% lovely smooth proper dark mild.

As it's May I'll go for the mild.
