That bit jumped out at me a little as well, I wonder if they are really a pub

I hate caps-lock, qualifies as a self promotion fail for me, although I admit I would still rather have that than nothing. Note to self, reviewing tips for owners

I take it the alleged assailant gained entry at the Managements Discretion or did he sneak in through the window in the Gents Bog. I can see a " No Comment" coming. Might as well leave the doors open and let them scrap it it out to the sound of live music.

I must admit that when I read the review I thought "That sounds like a really sh*te place"

A few weeks ago Simon at the Baum received a flyer through the post from a well known brewer and beer reseller.

They spelt barrel incorrectly all the way through.

It's obvious that you know your trade inside out when you do that.

Self Promotion Fail? It certainly was.

Like anything else that is full of pitfalls Promotion should be left to the media experts. As we have seen it is far to easy to Huff, Puff and Strutt you self pronounced stuff anywhere in public but it can be open to ridicule if you put in errors.
This sort of stuff has caused us much amusement. OK,some people try for a bit of free advertizing but as long as they keep it within reason it can be harmless and hopefully funny.
