    A modest week.

    Gun Brewery -- Pale Ale
    Harvey's -- Sussex Best
Brewhouse & Kitchen Highbury -- Geniuss Stout *
    B&K Highbury -- Old Major
    B&K Highbury -- Goalscorer IPA *
B&K Highbury -- Peasants Revolt IPA* (keg)
B&K Highbury -- London Calling (keg)

BOTW goes to Brewhouse & Kitchen Highbury Geniuss Stout ,one of the best stouts I've tasted .The current head brewer at the Highbury site was showing off his considerable skills with this seasonal brew.

BOTW Brewdog Elvis Juice (bottle). Described as a grapefruit infused IPA and packing a suitable punch at 6.5%. Great name, great beer.

Quiet weeks seem to be the norm at the moment.

    Fernandes - Session IPA.*
    Ossett - Snake Mocha Stout.
    Fernandes - Polaris.
    Titanic - Cappuccino.
    Rat - Regal Rodent.*
    Fernandes - Cascade Torrent.

The Session IPA and Regal Rodent were equally enjoyable, but as the former had great flavour, with a lower ABV, I'll make it the winner.

No trips anywhere last week so reliant on my local.
    Red Cat Scratch
    Wild Weather Serendipity APA
    Purity UBU
    Ballards Golden Bine
    Long Man Long Blonde
Brewdog Elvis Juice (bottle at home)
I'm not counting the bottle which was excellent, so BOTW is Wild Weather Serendipity APAalso very excellent.

Spent some time in Wales and Chester giving a fair list :-

    Mallinson's Mosaic 4.0%
    Monty's MPA 4.0%
    Brecon Daffodil 4.0%
    Brecon Copper Beacons 4.1%
    Salopian Black Heart Stout 4.2%
    Monty's Sunshine 4.2%
    Fat Cat Honey Ale 4.3%
    Abbeydale Moonshine 4.3%
    Alechemy Five Sisters 4.3%
Evan Evans St Davids Ale 4.3%
    Broughs LPA 4.3%
    Stonehouse Ballast Porter 4.4%
    VOG Dark Matter 4.4%
    McGivern Matt Black 4.5%
    Wye Valley Butty Bach 4.5%
    Pied Bull Matador 5.0%
    Phoenix Double Gold 5.0%
Hop & Stagger Triple Hop IPA 5.0%
    Monty's Mischief 5.0%
    Brecon Red Beacons 5.0%
    Grainstore 1050 5.0%
    Hop Back Summer Lightning 5.0%
    Holden's Special 5.1%
    Salopian The Bends 5.2%
    Gorgeous Beer Ruby Porter 5.5%
    Holden's Dragon's Blood 5.6%
    Monty's Dark Secret 5.6%

I'm going for the Monty's Dark Secret which is a fine strong stout. an honourable mention must go to the Pied Bull Matador which on the face of it is an old school strong golden ale but had a big hop aftertaste. This was tried for £3.33 (discounted) in the Chester Pied Bull and the Monty's in their Newtown Sportsman at £2.90 (discounted).

Imperial Platinum Blonde. A nicely fruity 4% pale ale. Just right for a session.

Tried several times in The Baum.
