The opening of Larkins' Alehouse brings my 22nd new pub of the year, from 78 visits. A few more will acrue from a visit to God's own county later in the month, though we do tend to revisit old favourites.(Last year 28 from 87)

We don't gt out on crawls as much as we used to, but going out on coach trips with a local CAMRA group means we get out to counties we would not get to very often and see new pubs. Our count for this year is a modest 73, but on Saturday we are doing St Albans Tring and around which will visit pubs in Marsworth, Tring, Berkhamstead, Heronsgate, Croxley Green and 3 in St Albans.

Sounds great! Glad to hear you and Ray are getting out and about. Hope to see you before long. (Maybe Coventry next spring, if that takes off.)

We may even see you at Sheffield beer festival if you get to that one. We will be there Thursday and Friday as we are booked into Travelodge for a night.
