I notice you added some reviews of these today. I'd like to see more! Why not beat me to getting a review in of the King Arthur the new Batham's outlet in Hagley (opens Friday)? I can't fit a visit in until December but I've got the rail tickets and as that geezer in Europe said "the clock is ticking".

Not really much of a reviewer but I will try to do more !! As for the new Batham's pub, it is high up on my to do list - watch this space.

I was rather taken by this bit:

"The opening of the new pub is eagerly anticipated by local residents, not least 102-year-old Frank Fell from nearby Clent who has been drinking Bathams beer for 82 of those years. I thought your reviews were fine! Some people write a book about a pub while others content themselves with a single sentence. Neither are "right" or "wrong". As for the new Batham's pub my visit will be part of a three ponged attack to find this year's XXX winter ale. I see a new reviewer has already added a picture and review. The new Holden's outlet the Golden Lion in Bridgnorth opened today but will have to wait until the new year when I hope they still have the Old Ale on.
The Wetherspoon project is completely on hold for December and January.

How wrong could I have been...........August was very productive and the total moved on to 158.At this rate 2017 will be a record year for me.However I know that's small beer compared with some folk on here.

Another month has passed and the total has gone up to 177,helped by a crawl around Huntingdon and some infills.With a quarter to go I would be chuffed to get up to 200,a record for me.

195 thanks to a run ashore in Pompey which saw a few repeats (some cracking pubs in Southsea) in with some new venues.

Maintained an average of one new pub per day through August, and now on 241 for the year.

Made it to 272 by end of September and with a good start to October I now need 84 more new pubs to get to 365 by the end of the year. The Pubs Galore Stockport crawl won't help all that much as I've done most of those already, so not sure where I'm going to find them...

Another 8 in Dorridge and Knowle pushes me to 168.

Another 7 in Wolvo brings me to 175. October will be quiet for me but should still do the 200 this year!
