Not at all Jim ,you enhance any pub we happen to share, . But you're right times have definitely moved on and pubs change, maybe not for the better, and I would bet the Commercial I had a drink in last Saturday was not as it once was in you're heyday.

The beer option in The Nelson was Doom Bar plus a turned around TT Landlord clip.

It's all pastel greens now and had 4 TVs showing differing racing channels, which is a lot considering it's really small!

After adding 8 yesterday in Boroughbridge and York my total has now risen to a modest 85. However this should increase significantly over May and June with 2 four day breaks booked to Brighton and London

After completing the Bermondsey Beer Mile today with a few extra pubs along the way and after, I've pushed on to 54.

The first quarter of the year ended with 53 new pub visits,much higher than normal and not likely to be matched in the next three months.However I may tick off some obscure parts of the canal system,which should bring forward some new pub visits.

Pottering along to 61 new pub visits for the year to date.Newark and Selby should deliver a few new ticks during May.
