They don't seem to do much cask beer.Very busy last Friday night but only one beer on.Think it was from Five Points.Tried a porter from Pirate Life brewery (Australia) on keg.Travelled thousands of miles and still superb. We can add the pub on to the list and hope for the best. I will be back in there before the crawl so I will report whats occurring.

If we are going to do an Essex Road stop, then could I suggest The Lord Clyde as it's a better and more traditional pub than the
The Hops & Glory , imho?

I did check it out recently as the last 2 reviewers thought it okay but they had on 3 beers duplicated Landlord,Harveys Sussex and one other regional bland.I wasn't going to drink one of these so didnt review the pub.One thing about it is they have a northern beer on. If we do Hops and Glory we will maybe give this a go as its yards away. cheers

Seven of the pubs on the current list above are stated as having Real Cider on their Whatpub pages, doesn't necessarily mean the others don't.

Is this PuG's first wedding? Should we provide a guard of honour, pint pots raised in a bridal arch?

No problem at all BF, Big Steve should be present depending on rumors he may be getting a proper job in the near future.
