Trying to pick a BOTW out of some top quality ale is a difficult task ,but by the shortest of heads Mallinsons Serious Blending gets the nod,in The Corner,Huddersfield.I even got the chance to congratulate the brewster who made it,thanks to ROB Camra for asking the Mallinsons team to pop into their tap for a chat with the PuG crawlers.

Next week boating in The Chilterns, good ale options abound.

    Very quiet in Kent:
Old Dairy-Red Top 3.8%abv:Really good old school bitter.Straightforward and uncomplicated.
Tonbridge-Rustic 4%abv: Dark brown 'country ale',gently hopped with Epic and Fuggles. Consumed at home via one of those 5 litre mini casks,in great condition.
    My BOTW-Red Top.

    A Meagre week pubwise,
    Red Cat Scratch
    Triple fff Citra Sonic
    Robinsons Dizzy Blonde
    Purity UBU

Quality was ok or average and no stars,
on that basis a bottle drank at home is the clear winner.
BOTW Brewdog Elvis Juice, a rather moreish Grapefruit infused IPA at 6.5%.
