    Default Moving existing map points

May I through this forum, respectfully request that the regular contributor who is correcting already corrected map points, to please refrain from doing this. Most of the map points that I have corrected are accurate, they do not need any adjustment.

    Thanks.

I assume you are referring to me..... When on satellite view some have moved due to the angle of Google earth photography they are using so are actually now incorrect e.g on next door or in the road. Until a Promap layer of accuracy exists in the sites mapping then pubs could be moved based on the satellite location of the pushpin being used. Google layering it's beginning to show a building based layer which will account for actual accuracy being confirmed.

Feel free to move any back you are disgruntled by as I base my own KML files to use on Google earth on actual NGR's taken from Promap. If I'm happy I've captured it after reviewing it the pushpin on here is a mere reference point.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. As a Cheltonian who lives close by, I know most of the pub locations as I am a frequent visitor to Cheltenham. However for locations further away, I consult the map on the pub page, then to double check, I go to Google Earth street view, this has been very helpful in the past. I will check the map points, that I have corrected again, just to make sure they are right.
