I've been reviewing a clutch of pubs lately, most for the first time, and I can't help notice that a lot of the jukeboxes are actually only there for decoration; they are plugged in with pretty lights flashing, but the electromechanical arms are static and no 45 RPM records rotate; music is coming from the pub's stereo and not the jukebox.

It might be worth giving the things the once over before selecting them as an actual entertainment feature of a pub rather than just décor.
