    Kent
    Old Dairy-Cattle Shed- 4.5%abv. Fruity hops.Great stuff.
Larkin's-Traditional-3.4%abv. A touch on the ardent side, the toffee was struggling to get through.
Rockin Robin- Reliant Robin-4.2%abv. In the evening gloom, I miss-read the ABV of this beer, and thought it well bodied for 3.4%.Oat straw; a bit sweet for me,though peach and spice came through towards the end.
My BOTW-Old Dairy Cattle Shed, an approachable APA, taken in the salubrious environs of the beer tent at the Weald of Kent Ploughing Match on Saturday. It was probably "bright", but I'm not really worried, and it hadn't traveled far.

Another fairly quiet week, so will have to go with Brewdog-5a.m. Saint in Preston's Roper Hall.

    Decent week:

    Twickenham Naked Ladies*
    Five Points Pale*
    Fullers ESB
    Kronenberg
    Adnams Ghost Ship*
    Portobello Star
    Portobello APA
    Theakstons Old Peculier*
    Abbeydale Moonshine*
    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Blue Monkey Ape Ale*

Some good ones there but BOTW was Blue Monkey Ape Ale by a margin. As reliable, delicious and drinkable as ever.

Even in deepest Wales the heat killed off the beer at the festival I went to so it was onto the cider after three.

    Purple Moose Snowdonia Ale 3.6%
    Cader Gold 3.8%
    Brain's Rev James Gold 4.1%
    Nant Cwrw Coryn 4.2%
    Robinson's Unicorn 4.2%
    Taylor's Landlord 4.3%
    Heavy Industry 77 4.5%*
    Robinson's Double Hop 4.8%
    Great Orme Merlyn 4.9%
    Cader Red Bandit 5.0%
    Great Orme Atlantis IPA 5.0%*
    Nant Mwnci Nel 5.5%
    Sandstone Twisted Dragon 5.8%
    Thornbridge Jaipur IPA 5.9%*

Luckily the pub had some Jaipur in (£3.40) which was easily the best of the week.

A warm, chocolatey drizzle of a milk stout, gratefully received at Stoke Newington's Jolly Butchers.

A fairly big selection this week which included a trip to Todmorden Beer Festival with oldboots & aleandhearty.

    A good day out guys.

Some honourable mentions from the festival :-

    Salopian Dead Drop
    Mannings Music Man
    Worsthorne Colliers Clog

All very pleasant, but BOTW is going to be Kirkstall Dissolution IPA. A 5% hop bomb tried quite a lot in The Baum.
