    Nice change, a varied week:

    Five Points Five Points Pale*
    Moor Confidence*
Howling Hops Pale XX No 2*
    Maregade Pale
    Purity Mad Goose
    Howling Hops Howling Pils*
    Howling Hops American Brown*
    Howling Hops Ruby Red*
Howling Hops Double Chocolate Coffee Toffee Vanilla Milk Porter*
    Burning Sky Aurora*
    Dark Star Hophead
    Siren Craft Sound Wave
    Hammerton Life on Mars
    Cloudwater Spring Summer*
    Salopian Oracle*
    Oakham Bishops Farewell*
    Oakham Inferno*
    Oakham Velevet Claws*
    Hop Back Summer Lightening*
    Fixed Wheel Blackheath Stout*

Some very good beer in amongst that lot and I agree with Mr F's choice of the Howling Hops Porter above.
For the sake of variety though, BOTW goes to Howling Hops Pale XX No 2. Pale, citrussy and refreshing. Ideal for a hot day even at 5%.

Good grub, though pricey even by South Eastern standards. Don't think the food is quite as exciting as a couple of years back, though perhaps Sundays are a special case. I was intrigued with Brown Cow's Vanilla Porter, but resisted as I was driving.

I made it to base camp on Friday evening.

    ELB Foundation Bitter 4.2%
    Truman's Ipademaa IPA 4.6%

The Truman's one is a JDW International that was a very good beer but fell short of great. ELB Foundation and Brodie's Bethnal Green are far and away the best boring brown beers going and show Doom Bore up as the third rate rubbish it is.

I think the food's always been pricey, some things never change! The Vanilla Porter is a very good beer and has picked up quite a few festival awards. However, my favourite Brown Cow beer is the Captain Oates strong mild (4.5%). Definitely one to look out for.

Tomislav, a 7.2% black beer with loads of flavour.

Made a very welcome change from the various Croatian lagers that were available in Dubrovnik.

In fact I had at least one every day, usually in Soul Cafe, where we finished off each night.
