The latest Leeds CAMRA e-letter notes that Collingham Ales has ceased brewing, after five years. As far as I know, it was pretty much a one man operation and didn't have a large range, but I recall the Artisans golden ale being decent.

Appleford in Oxon have gone. They've been around a fair while but it's fair to say that consistency was a concept they never fully got their head round.

I hear Hop Art are to close although there is nothing on their website at the moment about that. I thought their beers were fairly average.Possibly another victim of sticking with the pub Co's.

Wharfebank have ceased brewing at Pool-In-Wharfedale.

Rumour is that they may continue to cuckoo brew elsewhere.

I don't think I've had a beer of theirs that I thought was really good anyway.

    It's the Hambleton brewery, apparently.

Definitely at "Nick Stafford's Hambleton Ales", and the name has changed to Wharfe Beer.

Camfell at the Harrogate Beer Festival a long, long, time ago?

I thought London Fields had closed down. Does anyone know what the story is there?

No idea what happened to the brewery but I had an enjoyable pint of Love not War in the Crown & Shuttle on Friday night.
