Yep. Can't remember what it was called though and as it was bottled I didn't make notes.

    Mad Hatter Brewing - Liverpool

    1) Mad Hatter have ceased trading. I made the decision to enter voluntary liquidation before things got out of hand. Honestly my heart hasn't been in it since the premises move, we expanded to the wrong size, and Gaz's creativity has been missed."

never had one of their beers so can't comment.

Had a few Mad Hatter beers and there beers were a bit like Poppyland. The brewer liked to experiment with weird flavour that didn't always work.I think the brewer is now working under the name of Gibberish brewery and I had my first beer from him this week.Cappucino Esb which was okay but seems he still likes to experiment

Also heard Bude brewery has closed

I spotted this on Twitter yesterday too, but you beat me to it!

I've only had a couple of their beers - Toxteth IPA and Choco Choc Choc (porter) - both of which I thought were pretty good.

I only had one of their beers, tzatziki sour, in the Nags a few weeeks ago - it was really good and I probably ended-up drinking about a sixth of ther keg over the next few days.

I've heard that Rockin Robin Brewery of Boughton Monchelsea has ceased brewing. Didn't often come across their beer, but liked it when I did.
