    Breweries use a lot of electric/gas so they must be getting hammered with extra costs which I doubt they can pass on.Probably a lot more closures to come.

    The brewery and name have been bought by a guy from Bury.he hopes to re-open in Manchester.the beers still available are stock from hanwell and soon the beers will be contract brewed till and if they get a brewery.

    Sorry didn't see that info under your post.Here is another Yeovil closed last month.Only seen them in mcspoons in the last couple of years.

    5 towns brewery who were brewing good beers imo have ceased brewing.

    John, can I ask your source for this? Been on the local beer / pub sites and can't find any mention of it (so far). l'll admit I've not had a wander round town for a couple of weeks, but I'm sure I'd have heard something on the local real ale bush telegraph, particularly as Malcolm Bastow brews the house beer for and drinks in Harry's Bar.

    Still a few of his beers around.Always on at the Nags in Reading and they have 3 on the coming soon list.
