    Very quiet week.

    Fernandes - Dark Dream.
    Small World - Barncliff Bitter.
    Fernandes - Session IPA.*
    Fernandes - Dragon's Breath.*
    Elland - 1872.*
    Saltaire - Cascade.

The winner was an old favourite, 1872, but the Dragon's Breath, a surprisingly good chilli infused beer, wasn't far behind.

A busy week for me with a few days in Scotland and a visit to North Lincolnshire that included the briefest of visits to Cleethorpes (it was Carnival Day).

    St Andrews Wee Blonde 3.7%
    Fyne Jarl 3.8%
    Strathaven Drookit Rabbit 4.0%
    Black Wolf Rok IPA 4.0%
    Truman's Gypsy Queen 4.2%
    Conwy California 4.4%*
    Mordue US Pale 4.5%
    Mor-Ticia! 4.5%
    Orkney Puffin 4.5%
    Speyside Moray IPA 4.5%
    Jaw Spinnaker 4.7%
    Stonehenge Great Bustard 4.8%
    Stewart Edinburgh Gold 4.9%
Williams Bros March Of The Penguins 4.8%
    Kelburn Cart Blanche 5.0%
    Springhead Roaring Meg 5.5%
    Rooster's Red Baron 5.7%*
    Black Horse Thanks PA 6.0%*
    Eden Mill Shipwreck IPA 6.0%
    Phoenix Wobbly Bob 6.0%
    Allendale Yakima Pale 6.0%*
    Bridgehouse Cherry Choc Stout 6.0%*
    Acorn Gorlovka Imperial Stout 6.0%
    Kelham Island Imperial Stout 7.0%*

I'm going for the Rooster's Red Baron, an excellent American Red which would have been £2.60 in the Scunthorpe Blue Bell JDW but was included with some food. I must admit that the presence of this and the Kelham Island Stout at this venue stopped me sniggering over a joke from my school days about the town.

On the Spoons cider front I've yet to locate the Lyme Bay Driftwood. My favourite of the week was Sheppy's Old Corby, perfect served from the fridge in the hot weather.
