Another fine start to the week in the Baum.

A good pint of Cottage Concorde, followed by a Six Bells A-May-Zing and a Phoenix Monkeytown Mild.

I also had a pint of Mallinsons Danger: Hops!

It was so good that one pint turned into three.

This ones got a good chance of being this weeks BOTW already.

It's going to have to be something special to stop it.

Forge Brewery Litehouse won at Tuckers Maltings beer festival. It was on last night at the Seven Stars Bristol and was excellent. Bitter though sweet, not stupidly citrusy like a lot of light beers although still hoppy. Reminded me of Bathams a bit. Definitely BOW.

Sorry ECM, I rather like those as well.

I managed to fit in a lucky visit to the Maltings in York this week and had the finest pint of Rooster's YPA I've had in a long time so that's the one for me this week. I also had a foul pint of Rudgate Viking in another of the county's top ale houses the same day, most unusual for both the pub and the beer.
